Welcome to Workybooks! This guide will help you set up an account and start using our resources to support your child’s learning.

Step 1: Create Your Account

Sign Up

Visit workybooks.com and click Sign Up. Select “I’m a Parent” and enter your email address.

Create Your Password

Choose a secure password for your account.

Verify Your Email

Check your inbox for a verification email and click the link to activate your account.

Step 2: Add Your Child

Set up a profile for your child to start tracking their progress:

Add Child Profile

From your dashboard, click Add Child. Enter your child’s name and select their current grade level.

Add More Children (Optional)

If you have multiple children, repeat this step for each one. Each child gets their own profile and progress tracking.
Tip: You can add children in different grade levels. Each profile will show content appropriate for that grade.

Step 3: Explore Resources

Printable Resources

Download and print worksheets for traditional practice. Great for screen-free learning time.

Interactive Activities

Engaging online games, quizzes, and reading passages with instant feedback and automatic scoring.

Finding the Right Content

  • By Grade: Browse content organized by your child’s grade level
  • By Subject: Choose from Reading, Math, Science, or Social Studies
  • By Topic: Search for specific skills like “multiplication” or “phonics”

Step 4: Practice Together

Here’s how to make the most of Workybooks at home:

For Printable Resources

  1. Browse and find a resource
  2. Click Download to get the PDF
  3. Print it out
  4. Work through it with your child or let them complete it independently
  5. Review their answers together

For Interactive Activities

  1. Have your child log in to their profile
  2. Select an activity or game
  3. They’ll receive instant feedback as they work
  4. Check their progress in your parent dashboard

Step 5: Track Progress

Your parent dashboard shows:
  • Completed Activities: See what your child has finished
  • Scores: View performance on interactive activities
  • Strengths & Areas for Growth: Understand where your child excels and where they need support

Tips for Parents

10-20 minutes for younger children, 20-30 minutes for older kids. Consistent short sessions work better than occasional long ones.
Let your child choose some activities. Interest leads to engagement!
Focus on improvement and effort, not just correct answers.
Ask your child’s teacher what they’re learning and find related resources on Workybooks for extra practice.
Download resources for car rides, waiting rooms, or screen-free time.

Connecting with Your Child’s Teacher

If your child’s teacher uses Workybooks:
  1. Ask them for the classroom code
  2. Go to your dashboard and click Join Classroom
  3. Enter the code to connect your child
  4. You’ll now see teacher assignments in your dashboard
