Step 1: Create Your Account
Sign Up
Visit workybooks.com and click Sign Up. Select “I’m a Teacher” and enter your email address.
Complete Your Profile
Add your name, school (optional), and the grade level(s) you teach. This helps us recommend relevant content.
Step 2: Choose Your Setup
Workybooks offers three ways to share resources with students. Choose the option that fits your needs:- Create Classrooms
- Quick Play
- Present in Class
Best for: Tracking individual student progress, graded assignments, and homeworkCreate a classroom to assign work to specific students and monitor their progress over time. You can also sync with Google Classroom to import your existing classes and rosters.
Create a Classroom
From your dashboard, click Create Classroom. Give it a name (e.g., “Mrs. Smith’s 3rd Grade”) and select the grade level. Alternatively, connect your Google Classroom account to import classes automatically.
Add Students
You can add students by:
- Entering their names manually
- Importing from a CSV file
- Syncing from Google Classroom
- Sharing a classroom code for students to join themselves (works well for higher grade students who can enter codes independently)

Step 3: Browse & Assign Resources
Browse by Subject
Explore our library organized by Reading, Math, Science, and Social Studies.
Browse by Standard
Search for specific Common Core standards to find targeted resources.
Browse by Grade
Filter content by grade level to find age-appropriate materials.
Browse Interactive Activities
Find engaging games, quizzes, and reading passages for digital learning.
Assigning a Resource
- Find a curriculum resource you want to assign (worksheet, quiz, game, reading passage, or eBook)
- Click the Assign button
- Select your classroom or specific students
- Set a due date (optional)
- Click Assign to send it to students
Step 4: Track Student Progress
Your teacher dashboard gives you visibility into student work:- Completion Status: See which students have completed assignments
- Scores: View grades for interactive activities (auto-graded)
- Time on Task: See how long students spent on activities
- Class Overview: Get a snapshot of overall class performance
