Step 2: Choose Your Setup

Workybooks offers three ways to share resources with students. Choose the option that fits your needs:
Best for: Tracking individual student progress, graded assignments, and homeworkCreate a classroom to assign work to specific students and monitor their progress over time. You can also sync with Google Classroom to import your existing classes and rosters.
1

Create a Classroom

From your dashboard, click Create Classroom. Give it a name (e.g., “Mrs. Smith’s 3rd Grade”) and select the grade level. Alternatively, connect your Google Classroom account to import classes automatically.
2

Add Students

You can add students by:
  • Entering their names manually
  • Importing from a CSV file
  • Syncing from Google Classroom
  • Sharing a classroom code for students to join themselves (works well for higher grade students who can enter codes independently)
3

Share the Classroom Code

Each classroom has a unique code. Share this with your students so they can join and access assignments. This option is ideal for older students who can navigate to the site and enter the code on their own.
