Welcome to Workybooks! This guide will help you get started with your classroom and learn how to complete your assignments.

How to Access Workybooks

There are several ways to access Workybooks as a student:
Best for: Students who received a class code from their teacher

Go to the Student App

Visit students.workybooks.com in your web browser.

Click Join

Click the Join button on the sign-in page.

Enter Your Class Code

Type in the class code your teacher gave you (at least 6 characters).

Create Your Account

Enter your first name, last name, and create a username and password. Your password must be at least 6 characters and include both letters and numbers.

Start Learning

Once you join, you’ll be taken to your classroom dashboard where you can see your assignments.
Write down your username and password somewhere safe so you can sign in again later!

Your Classroom Dashboard

Once you sign in, you’ll see your My Class dashboard. This is your home base where you can see all your work.

To Do

Assignments you need to complete. Click on any assignment to start working on it.

Done

Assignments you’ve already submitted. Click to review your work and see your scores.

Completing Assignments

Choose an Assignment

From your To Do section, click on an assignment you want to work on. You’ll see the assignment title, due date (if any), and what activities are included.

Start the Activity

Click on an activity to begin. Assignments can include different types of activities:
  • Worksheets - Fill in answers, drag and drop, multiple choice
  • Games - Fun quizzes and interactive challenges
  • Reading Passages - Read a story or article and answer questions
  • Coloring Pages - Color and create artwork

Answer the Questions

Work through each question or activity. Your work is saved automatically as you go, so don’t worry if you need to take a break!

Submit Your Work

When you’re finished with all activities, click the Submit button. A message will ask you to confirm - click Yes to turn in your assignment.

Review Your Results

After submitting, you can see your score and review your answers. Your completed assignment moves to the Done section.
You can close your browser and come back later - your work is saved automatically! Just sign in again to continue where you left off.

Types of Activities

Workybooks has many different types of activities. Here’s what to expect:
Interactive worksheets with different question types:
  • Multiple Choice - Select the correct answer
  • Fill in the Blank - Type your answer
  • Drag and Drop - Move items to the right place
  • Matching - Connect related items
Reading assignments include:
  • The Passage - A story or article to read
  • Vocabulary - Learn new words with flashcards
  • Quiz - Answer questions about what you read
  • Matching - Match vocabulary or concepts
  • Writing - Write your own response
Fun, interactive challenges:
  • Answer questions to earn points
  • Try again if you get something wrong
  • See your score at the end
Digital coloring activities:
  • Choose colors from the palette
  • Click or tap to fill in areas
  • Create your own artwork

Notifications

When your teacher assigns new work, you’ll see a notification bell in the top corner of your screen. Click on it to see:
  • New assignments
  • Due date reminders
  • Messages from your teacher
Check your notifications regularly so you don’t miss any assignments!

Multiple Classrooms

If you’re in more than one classroom (for example, different subjects or different teachers), you can switch between them:
  1. Look for the classroom name at the top of your screen
  2. Click on it to see all your classrooms
  3. Select the classroom you want to view

Quick Play Activities

Sometimes your teacher will share a Quick Play link or QR code for instant activities. These are great for practice because:
  • No sign-in required - Just enter your name
  • Works on any device - Phone, tablet, or computer
  • Instant start - Begin right away

Access the Activity

Click the link your teacher shared, or scan the QR code.

Enter Your Name

Type your first and last name so your teacher knows it’s you.

Complete the Activity

Work through all the questions or tasks.

Submit

Click Submit when you’re done. You’ll get a special link to see your results!
Quick Play sessions are not saved to an account. If you close the browser before submitting, you may need to start over. Make sure to finish and submit before leaving!

Tips for Success

Take your time to read each question before answering. Make sure you understand what’s being asked.
Your work is saved automatically, so there’s no need to hurry. Focus on doing your best work.
Look at when your assignment is due. Try to finish before the deadline!
Before submitting, look over your work one more time. You can go back and change answers before you submit.
If you’re stuck on a question, ask your teacher or a parent for help. It’s okay to not know everything!

Troubleshooting

Ask your teacher to reset your password. They can create a new one for you.
Make sure you’re:
  • In the correct classroom
  • Signed in with the right account
  • Looking in the To Do section (not Done)
If you still can’t see it, ask your teacher.
Workybooks saves automatically, but if you lost internet connection, your recent work might not have saved. Try:
  • Checking your internet connection
  • Refreshing the page
  • Signing in again
Ask your teacher if you need to redo any work.
Once you submit, you usually can’t change your answers. Talk to your teacher - they may be able to let you try again.

  • Checking your internet connection
  • Asking a parent or teacher for help
