How to Start a Quick Play Activity
Option 1: Using a Link
Get the Link
Your teacher will share a Quick Play link. It might be:
- Posted in your Google Classroom
- Written on the board
- Sent in a message or email
- Shared in a chat
Option 2: Using a QR Code
Completing a Quick Play Activity
Quick Play activities work just like regular assignments:Activity Types

Working Through the Activity
- Read each question carefully before answering
- Select or type your answer
- Move to the next question when you’re ready
- Complete all questions in the activity
Your progress is saved as you work, but only while you stay on the page. Don’t close the browser until you’re done!
Submitting Your Quick Play Work

Make sure you’ve answered everything. Check for any questions you might have skipped.
Review Token
After you submit, Workybooks gives you a review token (a special link). This lets you:- See your score
- Review your answers
- Check which questions you got right or wrong

Important Things to Remember
Enter your real name. Your teacher uses your name to track your work. Using a fake name or nickname means your teacher won’t know you completed the activity!
Using Quick Play on Different Devices
On a Computer or Chromebook
- Click the link your teacher shared
- Enter your name in the boxes
- Click Start
- Complete and submit when done
On a Phone or Tablet
- Scan the QR code with your camera, OR tap the link your teacher shared
- Enter your name
- Tap Start
- Work through the activity using touch
- Tap Submit when finished
Shared Devices (Computer Labs)
If you’re using Quick Play on a shared computer (like in a computer lab or library):Check for Previous Sessions
If someone else was using the computer, their name might still be showing. Make sure to enter YOUR name instead.
Troubleshooting

Try:
- Moving closer to or further from the code
- Making sure there’s enough light
- Cleaning your camera lens
- Using a QR scanner app instead of the regular camera
- Asking your teacher for the link instead
The link doesn't work
The link doesn't work
- Make sure you copied the entire link (it might be long)
- Check your internet connection
- Try opening it in a different browser
- Ask your teacher for a new link

I accidentally closed the browser
Unfortunately, Quick Play sessions don’t save across browser closes. You’ll need to:
- Start the activity again from the beginning
- Enter your name again
- Redo your work
I lost my review link

If you didn’t save the review link, there’s no way to get it back. Ask your teacher - they can see your submission in their Quick Play dashboard.

Once you submit, you can’t change the name. Be careful to type your name correctly at the beginning. If it’s wrong, let your teacher know so they can identify your work.

- Check your internet connection
- Try refreshing the page
- Close other browser tabs
- Ask your teacher if others are having the same problem
