Getting Started

Setting up your classroom is easy:
  1. Create a free teacher account at workybooks.com
  2. Go to your dashboard and click “Create Classroom”
  3. Add your students by name or import from a roster
  4. Share the classroom code with your students so they can join
Yes! You can create multiple classrooms within your teacher account. This is helpful if you teach different grade levels or subjects throughout the day.
Students can join your classroom using the unique classroom code you provide. They’ll need to:
  1. Go to workybooks.com
  2. Click “Join Classroom”
  3. Enter the classroom code you’ve shared with them

Assigning Work

To assign a curriculum resource (worksheet, quiz, game, reading passage, or eBook):
  1. Browse or search for the resource you want to assign
  2. Click the “Assign” button
  3. Select the classroom(s) or individual students
  4. Set a due date (optional)
  5. Click “Assign” to send it to your students
Yes! You can differentiate instruction by assigning specific resources to individual students or groups within your classroom. This allows you to meet students where they are.
Every resource on Workybooks shows the specific Common Core and state standards it addresses. You can also search by standard to find exactly what you need for your curriculum.

Tracking Progress

Your teacher dashboard provides detailed progress reports including:
  • Completion status for each assignment
  • Scores and grades
  • Time spent on activities
  • Areas where students may need additional support
Yes, you can export progress reports and grades to CSV format for easy import into your school’s gradebook system.
Workybooks provides several types of reports:
  • Individual student reports: Track one student’s progress over time
  • Class overview: See how your entire class is performing
  • Assignment reports: View results for a specific assignment
  • Standards mastery: Track progress toward specific learning standards

Printable vs. Interactive

  • Printable resources: PDF files you can download and print for traditional paper-and-pencil work
